The document is a clear and concise introduction to workplace literacy programs, including suggestions on getting others involved, how to get started, as well as models for workforce literacy taken from six Canadian cities. It is intended for municipal policy-makers, but can be a useful reference for literacy practitioners, especially those involved in workplace literacy.
