Introduction to Computers Lesson Plans 1 – 12

Series: Computer Literacy Workshops and Lesson Plans – CBAL

Authors: Keri Russell, Margaret Sutherland

Collection: Learning Materials

This document provides 12 one-hour lesson plans for practitioners who are teaching basic computer skills to adults. The lesson plans cover such topics as using Windows and managing documents; typing paragraphs and checking spelling; cut, copy and paste; using alignments and inserting pictures; and formatting tables.

Each lesson includes a list of resources required; an explanation of topics to be covered; tips for the instructor; and a breakdown of the time required for each component of the lesson.

Learners would be expected to have some basic skills already, like knowing how to use a mouse.
