This document sets out a five-year plan for the Yukon Literacy Coalition (YLC), a community-based organization committed to increasing literacy and Essential Skills for adult learners. The plan is a tool to help stakeholders, members, and funders understand the YLC’s priorities and the actions required to meet these priorities.

The document is divided into sections dealing with workplace and workforce literacy; adult learner support; practitioner support; family and community literacy; Aboriginal literacy; and internal services.

The authors note that while the plan will require updating, it will remain the blueprint for the coalition’s work during the five-year period.
