This illustrated book of poems was written by a learner in a literacy program and edited by Kathryn Hunt of The NB Committee on Literacy as part of a summer literacy project sponsored by Human Resources Development Canada and United Book Stores. The author, Donald Wayne McGlinchey of St. Stephen, New Brunswick , describes the rhythm and rhyme in poetry as “ an art that can calm the soul of mankind ”. Throughout his poems he has managed to convey his great love of music, nature and friends and the peace of mind they inspire within him.
