This Self-Advocacy Manual is a tool for facilitators and volunteers to assist persons with disabilities learn the skills necessary to become effective self-advocates. It is geared toward persons with disabilities who are at a level where they are prepared to make changes in their lives, but need the encouragement and support of their peers to explore barriers they are encountering.
