Finding legal information and understanding legal language can prove to be a challenge for many individuals, especially for individuals with weak literacy skills. Literacy tutors can use this manual to help students better understand some basic legal concepts concerning wills. With this manual, individuals with weak literacy skills learn how to access legal information and are then able to make informed decisions about issues affecting their lives and to participate more independently in society.

This manual should be used in conjunction with the "Wills - Student Manual." It includes a discussion section listing questions tutors might want to raise with students and a Resource and Links section that directs users to sites that offer more detailed information at a higher reading level as well as referral services.

The manual includes the following sections:
- Wills in General
- Types of Wills
- Last Wishes
- Activities and Resources
