National Adult Literacy Database

This document was prepared for Literacy Network Northeast (LNN), one of 16 regional literacy networks in Ontario funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU).

It contains a variety of charts and other tools for measuring a literacy agency’s progress in achieving its goals. Topics covered include gathering stakeholder input; community linkages, networking and partnerships; comparing statistics from year to year; and measuring customer service.

Some of the material relates specifically to MTCU guidelines but most of it is applicable to literacy agencies in general.
