Authors: Vocational and Rehabilitation Research Institute (VRRI)
This document is part of a workshop on harassment developed by the Calgary-based Vocational and Rehabilitation Research Institute (VRRI), an agency that helps people with disabilities as well as the community at large.
The workbook goes along with a video that presents several vignettes illustrating actions that constitute harassment. The authors explain the terms bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, stalking, and sexual or physical assault; outline what the individual can do about harassment; and explain what employers can do to get rid of harassment in the workplace.
The authors use simple language and provide both definitions and pronunciation guides for the difficult words.
VRRI is now called Vecova Centre for Disability Services and Research (Vecova): http://vecova.ca/.
