This manual is intended for experienced literacy practitioners who would like to learn more about portfolio development. Areas examined include : a description of portfolios, the reasons learners use them, how to create them, and factors affecting their use. The manual is not meant as an introductory course. It quotes relevant parts of the LOON (Literacy Opportunities in Ontario North) Assessment and Evaluation Module.
