National Adult Literacy Database

This is the fifth in a seven-book series called Changing Lanes, aimed at adult English as a Second Language (ESL) learners. Books in the series can also be used in a low-level ESL classroom as a supplementary reading and writing resource.

Each book deals with one or more life skills. For instance, this book discusses banking and budgeting. In addition to reading material, each book contains learning activities.

While the books are similar in purpose and reading level, each can stand alone.

Books in the Changing Lanes have been aligned to the Canadian Language Benchmark ESL Literacy Phase 1 and 2.
