Practice English on Your Own: Self Study Ideas and Resources for English Language Learners in Nova Scotia (2009)

This booklet was designed for adult immigrants who are learning English as a Second Language (ESL) and includes ideas for learners to work on their English at home and in the community. It also includes lists of websites and other resources; information about tests of ESL skills and ESL programs in Nova Scotia; and an explanation of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB).
Ideas for ESL practice are grouped into Beginners (CLB levels 1-4) and Intermediate/Advanced (CLB levels 5-8).
